At various times throughout the year, our Executive Director Paulette Leeper walks the City and neighboring Townships visiting businesses in the area.  She is accompanied by Jeff Wright, Loveland’s Assistant City Manager, for the City portion of the walk.

The purpose of the walk is to support businesses in the Loveland area by visiting each one and talking with the owners about their concerns or questions about doing business in the area.  All non-residential businesses known to the City or the Chamber are visited.  Businesses which are not members of the Chamber are offered a waiver of the new member administration fee if they join during the business walk.

Past business walks have resulted in the removal of a problematic median in the Commerce Park, a City contract for a Loveland business, greater awareness of the issues facing our business, and new members for the Chamber.

The walk follows a pre-determined schedule announced in advance to area businesses via broadcast e-mail, the Chamber’s newsletter, our Web site calendar, and local media.  Appointments are not necessary, but those desiring one, or people who have questions about the Business Walk, are invited to give the Chamber a call at 683-1544.
