Be sure to visit our Events Calendar for details about this year's Valentine Program.
To send your Valentines with our romantic stamp and the Loveland postmark, prepare your cards, affixing proper postage, address, and return address, and include them in a larger envelope addressed to:
The Valentine Lady
Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce
442 W. Loveland Avenue
Loveland, OH 45140
Valentines are hand-stamped with our unique cachet, which is modeled after the year's winning card, and then hand-cancelled with a special Loveland, Ohio, postmark. Each year, we re-mail thousands of cards to all 50 states and many foreign countries. We also stamp wedding invitations throughout the year.
Our Valentine Program began in 1972 and has grown over the years to include a variety of Valentine community activities, as well as our nationally-known cachet stamping and postmark program.
There are many ways to celebrate Valentine Season in Loveland. You can....
Mail your Valentines with our special cachet and the Loveland postmark, and tell all your friends to do the same! If you'd like to personally drop off your Valentine cards for stamping, we'll be set up at the Loveland Post Office during the first two weeks in February from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday.
Chamber members are encouraged to use this unique opportunity to "grow your business" by helping us greet the public and stamping their Valentine cards at the post office. Call the Chamber office at 683-1544 to sign up for a time slot.
Purchase your commemorative Loveland Valentine cards from the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce. Cards are on sale at the Chamber (including our table at the Loveland Post Office), Loveland Kroger, Pizazz Studio, The UPS Store, Union Savings Bank, Loveland Health Care Center, Greater Loveland Historical Society Museum, LCNB and The Lodge Retirement Community. Our commemorative Valentine cards are sponsored by Loveland Health Care Center.
Attend the Valentine Kickoff on the second Saturday in January at the Loveland Kroger store. Be first in line to buy this year's winning Valentine cards when they go on sale that day.
Nominate a special woman to be our Valentine Lady. Valentine Ladies are women who have distinguished themselves in community, school, or family endeavors. The Valentine Lady is the ambassador for the Chamber's Valentine Program, and visits area businesses, nursing homes and schools, among her duties as Valentine Lady. Being nominated for Valentine Lady is quite an honor! Click here for Valentine Lady Nomination rules.
Enter our Valentine Card Design Contest. Each year, we print special Loveland Valentine cards with the winning card design, and sell them at the Chamber office and various locations in Loveland. Click here for card design rules and entry form. Sponsored by Loveland Health Care Center.
Enter our Valentine Poetry Contest. Winning poems are published online at http://communitypress.cincinnati.com/ and may be printed in the Loveland Herald. The poets also read their poems aloud at our exclusive community Valentine Breakfast. Please click here for a poetry contest flyer with the rules and guidelines. Sponsored by the City of Loveland.
Decorate “Valentino," our special little heart character, and then look to see if yours is featured online at http://communitypress.cincinnati.com or printed in the Loveland Herald. Sponsored by Kings VW of Loveland.
Purchase a heart-shaped yard sign. Show your love and admiration for your special someone with a large red Valentine yard sign, imprinted with a personal love message, or perhaps a business promotional message.
Valentine Community Breakfast. Join us for breakfast on Valentine's Day, but be sure to register early! This popular event sells out fast! Sponsored by Oasis Golf Club and Conference Center.
